Yakima Valley Hops

A legendary variety introduced by Virgil Gamache Farms, AMARILLO® VGXP01 c.v. is one of the top 10 most widely used hops. With mid-to-high alpha (8-11%) and the highest myrcene oil content (68-70%) of any hop, Amarillo® packs rich, citrus flavor and aroma that's reminiscent of tangerine, orange and lemon, backed by light stonefruit and wildflowers. A cross between Herkules and a wild hop, Ariana was released by the Hüll Hop Research Center in Germany. Juicy with sweet, dark fruits like passion fruit and blackcurrants, backed by light floral and citrus. With dual-purpose utility (10-13%), Ariana can be used in a number of applications, delivering smooth bittering and an aromatic lift to a variety of beer styles.

Azacca® ADHA-483 c.v., named after the Haitian god of agriculture, is a fruit-forward variety developed by the ADHA breeding program (now Latitude 46). With high alpha (14-16%) and high oil, Azacca® bursts a complex range of citrus and tropical fruit, backed by pine and herbal notes. Whirlpool or dry hop with Azacca® to maximize the tropical and sweet fruit flavors of ripe mango, grapefruit, and pineapple. Azacca's dual-purpose nature can round out any IPA or modern ale style on its own or work seamlessly with familiar favorites like Citra® and El Dorado®.

Barbe Rouge is an aroma hop developed through the Comptoir Agricole breeding program in the Alsace growing region of France. Barbe Rouge offers bright flavors of red fruit like currant, strawberry and raspberry, rounded out by zesty orange, lime and kumquat. It's well-suited for heavily hopped beer styles like IPAs and pale ales, while still being delicate enough to use in a classic pilsners and Belgian styles. Developed in collaboration with John I. Haas and Brulotte Farms, BRU-1™ goes big and bold with pineapple flavor and clean bittering (13-15%). BRU-1™ is known for its distinct pineapple aroma, rounded out by green fruit (like pears and apples) and fresh cut grass. BRU-1™ plays well with other hops, adding a tropical vibe to hops like Citra, Chinook and other fruit-forward varieties. Released by the Hüll Hop Research Center in 2016, Callista is a German variety whose name means "most beautiful" in Greek. Callista has low alpha (2-5%) yet delivers a cocktail of flavors like strawberry, orange, ruby red grapefruit, rounded out by pear and caramel. A diverse aroma hop that packs a punch when dry hopped in pilsners, pale ales, and IPAs.

The hop that made hops famous — Cascade single-handedly defined the American pale ale style and helped ignite the craft beer landscape. C ommercialized by the USDA-ARS in 1972 as a cross between an English Fuggle and a male derived from the Russian variety Serebrianka, Cascade bursts with zesty grapefruit flavor and aroma (thanks to high myrcene), rounded out by soft floral and spice. Although it lends balanced bittering, Cascade can also be used in late hop additions to maximize its bright flavor and aroma. The notorious king of pale ale hops.
