LUPO MAX ® is a concentrated pellet that's built for consistency, efficiency and optimized hop flavor. With less vegetative matter compared to regular hop pellets, you get hop flavors that are bigger, bolder, and brighter. It also means less beer loss, less solid waste, and more beer to enjoy. LUPO MAX ® is variety and crop year specific, made with premium lots that are selected to deliver consistent, true-to-type flavor year over year.

A legendary variety introduced by Virgil Gamache Farms, AMARILLO® VGXP01 c.v. is one of the top 10 most widely used hops. With mid-to-high alpha (8-11%) and the highest myrcene oil content (68-70%) of any hop, Amarillo® packs rich, citrus flavor and aroma that's reminiscent of tangerine, orange and lemon, backed by light stonefruit and wildflowers. Amarillo brings versatility and depth to many beer styles and makes a flavorful team player with other U.S. favorites like Cascade, Citra® and Simcoe®. Amarillo: the all-American, citrus classic that brewers return to again and again.

A cross between Herkules and a wild hop, Ariana was released by the Hüll Hop Research Center in Germany. Juicy with sweet, dark fruits like passion fruit and blackcurrants, backed by light floral and citrus. With dual-purpose utility (10-13%), Ariana can be used in a number of applications, delivering smooth bittering and an aromatic lift to a variety of beer styles.

Azacca® ADHA-483 c.v., named after the Haitian god of agriculture, is a fruit-forward variety developed by the ADHA breeding program (now Latitude 46). With high alpha (14-16%) and high oil, Azacca® bursts a complex range of citrus and tropical fruit, backed by pine and herbal notes. Whirlpool or dry hop with Azacca® to maximize the tropical and sweet fruit flavors of ripe mango, grapefruit, and pineapple. Azacca's dual-purpose nature can round out any IPA or modern ale style on its own or work seamlessly with familiar favorites like Citra® and El Dorado®.

Barbe Rouge is an aroma hop developed through the Comptoir Agricole breeding program in the Alsace growing region of France. Barbe Rouge offers bright flavors of red fruit like currant, strawberry and raspberry, rounded out by zesty orange, lime and kumquat. It's well-suited for heavily hopped beer styles like IPAs and pale ales, while still being delicate enough to use in a classic pilsners and Belgian styles. French elegance meets versatility with a flash of modern flavor. Developed in collaboration with John I. Haas and Brulotte Farms, BRU-1™ goes big and bold with pineapple flavor and clean bittering (13-15%). BRU-1™ is known for its distinct pineapple aroma, rounded out by green fruit (like pears and apples) and fresh cut grass. BRU-1™ plays well with other hops, adding a tropical vibe to hops like Citra, Chinook and other fruit-forward varieties. Throw it in any crushable ale style, especially a hazy IPA — BRU-1™ has been shown to improve haze stability!

Released by the Hüll Hop Research Center in 2016, Callista is a German variety whose name means "most beautiful" in Greek. Callista has low alpha (2-5%) yet delivers a cocktail of flavors like strawberry, orange, ruby red grapefruit, rounded out by pear and caramel. A diverse aroma hop that packs a punch when dry hopped in pilsners, pale ales, and IPAs.

The hop that made hops famous — Cascade single-handedly defined the American pale ale style and helped ignite the craft beer landscape. C ommercialized by the USDA-ARS in 1972 as a cross between an English Fuggle and a male derived from the Russian variety Serebrianka, Cascade bursts with zesty grapefruit flavor and aroma (thanks to high myrcene), rounded out by soft floral and spice. Although it lends balanced bittering, Cascade can also be used in late hop additions to maximize its bright flavor and aroma. The notorious king of pale ale hops.

A cross between Cascade and Northern Brewer, Cashmere was developed by Washington State University and released in 2013. With higher alpha acids and humulene than its parent Cascade, Cashmere offers smooth bittering and texture to beers. It delivers a distinct, pleasant blend of lemon lime, melon, stonefruit, and a subtle herbal bouquet. A unique, dual-purpose hop ready to balance a range of crushable styles.

Centennial is one of the most well-respected hop varieties since being released in 1990. Named after the centennial anniversary of Washington state, it offers well-rounded utility for bittering, flavor, aroma and dry-hopping. It quickly developed the nickname "Super Cascade" for its higher alpha, with vibrant citrus and soft pine characteristics. Centennial has a long history as a celebrated IPA hop in the beer industry, notably featured in legendary IPAs such as Russian River's Pliny the Elder, Founders' Centennial IPA, and Bell's Two Hearted Ale. Chinook was originally released as a high alpha variety by the USDA breeding program in Washington state in 1985. Chinook has since been celebrated as a well-rounded, dual-purpose hop that's suited for many different styles, especially adding depth to West Coast IPAs and other modern ale styles. Its predominantly spicy and piney character carries smoothly into both flavor and aroma, while bright grapefruit accentuates its clean bitterness. Bearing its namesake from the Chinook people — an indigenous tribe of the Pacific Northwest — this hop has become a distinctive contributor to the identity of American craft brewing.

Citra®, the reigning superstar of the hop world in acreage and crowned #1 in our Top 10 Hops list. Developed by Hop Breeding Company and released in 2007, Citra's journey paralleled the rise of craft beer and revolutionized hop flavor in many beer styles, especially IPAs. Citra® is celebrated by brewers for its incomparable, citrus and sweet fruit flavor and aroma. Known for high geraniol content, which is biotransformed by yeast into citronellol — a highly sought-after aroma compound in fruit-forward beer styles. Citra® is strong enough to carry a beer on its own yet pairs well with most varieties, not limited to Mosaic®, Galaxy®, Amarillo® and Dolcita ™. A foundational, flavorful hop with universal utility and appeal.

Cluster is one of the oldest varieties growing in the U.S. with much of its origin uncertain. A balanced dual-purpose hop with moderate alpha (5.5-8.5%) and relatively low oil content, Cluster delivers notes of lilac, apricot, and lemon, rounded by herbal and earth-like aromas. Until the late 1970s, Cluster dominated farm acreage in the U.S., particularly in the Yakima Valley and Idaho.

Despite its USDA release in 1974 and decline in the 1980s, Comet splashed back onto the scene in the 2010s as brewers rediscovered its well-rounded flavor profile. Comet is zesty with mandarin and pineapple, rounded out by unique lemongrass and black currant notes — often described as “wild American.” Comet’s unique aroma produces one-of-a-kind beers, proving that some classics are worth rediscovering.

Released by the USDA in 1993, Crystal is a triploid variety and a daughter of Hallertau Mittelfrüh. While it carries some genetic contributions from Cascade and Brewer's Gold, Crystal is prized for her noble German character. Light floral, cedar and soothing spice simmer with a balanced bitterness in the flavor and aroma profile. In good company among German-derived, American lager hops, Crystal is a half-sister to Mt. Hood and Liberty. An elegant bridge between German tradition and American craft.

CTZ stands for Columbus, Tomahawk, and Zeus — three hop varieties that are nearly indistinguishable from one another and all descendents of Nugget. Typically used as a bittering hop, CTZ delivers an impressive bite with alpha acids clocking in at 15-17%. CTZ packs a punch of ripe citrus, dank and slightly pungent flavor, backed by earth and spice. This hop can bolster heavy hop bills, and works well with fellow "C" comrades like Cascade, Chinook and Centennial. A premier American bittering hop bursting with flavor.

Eclipse® is the newest variety released by our friends at Hop Products Australia. Formerly known as HPA-016, Eclipse® entered the hop industry in 2020 with high alpha Australian and North American heritage. Bright and juicy, Eclipse® bursts with sweet mandarin, zesty citrus and orange peel (thank you, high myrcene) backed by fresh pine. This flavor profile shines in classic West Coast IPAs, and its vibrant orange vibe complements trendier, modern styles like fruit-forward hazies and crushable low-ABVs. Blend with other Aussie hops or let Eclipse® take the lead — it's ripe for your next IPA.

Ekuanot® was commercially released in 2014 by the Hop Breeding Company. Ekuanot boasts a bouquet of fruity and citrus notes, including melon, berry, lime, apple and papaya, rounded by fresh green pepper. Agronomically, Ekuanot is incredibly unique, with high alpha and extremely high oil content. It stands out in the hop fields every spring, with vibrant yellow cones growing along the twine. A distinctive, expressive hop that refuses to blend in.

Released by CLS Farms in 2010, El Dorado® bursts with juicy pineapple and tropical notes. El Dorado® is a true, dual-purpose hop lending high alpha (13-17%) and intense flavor when used in later additions. Often described as sweet and hard candy-like, El Dorado® shines with bright flavors and aromas of pineapple, pear, watermelon and stonefruit. This exceptionally popular profile works well with other hops like Citra®, Azacca®, Mosaic® and Cashmere. Sweet, saturated, and unmistakably expressive.

Previously known as YQH-1320, Elani® was released in 2022 by Yakima Quality Hops. Elani is a found variety with moderate alpha, sought out for its bright and clean flavor. Elani delivers prominent notes of zesty citrus, pineapple, guava and white peach, rounded out by light floral and resin. Layer in Elani with other fruit-forward hops in a variety of styles, especially IPAs and sessionable pale ales. A modern hop adding a vibrant kick to your next brew.

Elixir is a new and exciting hop variety developed in the legendary growing region of Alsace, France. Elixir is a robust and complex hop that offers unique aromas of cognac, leather, and tobacco that are backed by sweet citrus fruits as well rose and lovage. Elixir is well suited for darker styles but can also be incorporated into fruit-forward styles or even spicy saisons. Previously named Stella, Ella™ is the little sister of the Australian superstar Galaxy®. Ella and Galaxy share the same mother, but Ella's father comes from Spalt, Germany, giving her a noble edge. The pleasant floral and soft spice aromas are rounded out by light, sweet fruit flavors hailing from her Aussie background. These qualities work best in lagers and pilsners, yet Ella also complements pale ales and IPAs in late additions. Adding to the dry-hop or whirlpool will preserve some of the light, tropical fruit oils similar to Galaxy. Floral, spicy, and softly sweet, she’s a Southern Hemisphere lager hop ready to surprise.

Enigma® is unique dual-purpose variety from Hop Products Australia breeding program, known for its with rare, expressive flavor. A cross between Swiss Tettnang and a North American variety, Enigma displays juicy red fruit like raspberries and redcurrants with ripe rockmelon (cantaloupe). But what also sets Enigma apart from other Australian varieties are crisp, white grape notes similar to Pinot Gris, a resemblance that echos the neighboring Nelson Sauvin. A uncommon profile fitting for flavorful, adventurous styles like sours, summer ales and IPAs.
